UPDATE TO: Course Info – PLEASE READ BEFORE HEADING TO WATERBURY

The GMDGC, as well as some local disc golfers have been in contact with the Waterbury Center Rec Committee Chairman. The closure of the Waterbury course is currently considered day to day, though they will not be out there every day evaluating the situation. As we mentioned before, the intention of the closure is to ensure the long term protection of the course and walking trails. We have been asked to stay off of the course while it is wet or muddy, but that as long as it is not too wet it will be considered open for play. Please use common sense. Many outdoor recreational activities are put on hold during the Vermont mud season so that the fields, trails and land can be enjoyed throughout the rest of the year. This will most likely continue to be true at the Waterbury Center disc golf course. Please go out there and enjoy the sport, but please also use common sense. Thanks and see you on the course.
