Two Bits of News

Work Day in Waterbury

Help take care of the state’s most popular disc golf course this Saturday, May 8 in Waterbury.

With the course just re-opening after mud season last Saturday and the upcoming sold out Sap Bucket Open VIII, it is especially important that we get out there now to prepare and take care of the course. We will upgrading various teepads and will need to move a lot of gravel. We’ll be cleaning up brush and downed limbs from recent storms.  And we’ll be moving lots of woodchips to improve trails.

We’d love to have you join us out there this Saturday. Please bring tools such as wheel barrows, shovels, and garden rakes with you if you have them.  Do NOT bring any cutting implements such as axes or saws.

Registration for Black Falls IV is Open

After the Sold-Out Sap Bucket Open VIII, the next statewide tournament is the Black Falls Open IV up in Montgomery, Vermont. For this year’s tournament Johnny Betts has opened a brand new course just down the street from Black Falls that he’s dubbed Cherry Hill. We’ll play both courses and as always lunch will be provided by Flicks.
