Thanks to everyone who came out and played in the Ice Bucket III this year. We raised an incredible amount of money for a very worthy cause. Below is a thank you letter we received from the food shelf:

Dear Mr. Hess:

On behalf of the Waterbury Area Food Shelf, I would like to extend a HUGE thank you to you and all of the members of the Green Mountain Disc Golf Club for your generous donation of $2,288.00.

With these tough economic times, we have seen a drastic increase in need over the past few months. Our average over the past four months has risen from serving 80 families per month to 110 families per month.

This generous donation enables us to meet this increasing demand and help local families keep food on their table.
