As expected, Mother Nature is helping make the Fall Platter 2007 another one to forget. Tee time will be around 37 degrees and chance of rain – (which in Waterbury means a nice soaking mist).

But the same conditions didn’t prevent 39 folks from coming out and having a blast last year.

So come on out and show everyone what a summer’s worth of practice does! Win a trophy, Win some cash, Win the Ace pot!

Speaking of winning the Ace Pot – CONGRATS TO BUMBLE!!!

Last Thursday Matt “Bumble” Habedank took advantage of some strategic design features of the Dream Catcher (TM) baskets and dropped a Thumber ACE through the top of 18 from the White Tees during TNT. This was the first ACE during a GMDGC sanctioned event all year so the Ace pot was pretty juicey. Not only did the ACE pocket Bumble some sweet cash for himself, but it put his TNT team 1 stroke in the lead for the TNT win! What a night! If ESPN had been onsite in Waterbury last Thursday this would have been an ESPN web gem.

The GMDGC and Fall Platter would like to thank Bumble who made a generous donation back to the club to enhance the Fall Platter tourney.
