OK… Anyone who visits this page regularly knows that something must be going on because there is absolutely no way that Pete has really updated the site with NEW info on 3 of the last 4 days. Well, the truth is there IS something going on and its called spring. Most of us have gone out a played a couple times over the winter, but with daylight savings now in session and the warm weather sneaking in, it won’t be long before we are spending most of our waking hours either on the disc golf course or wishing we were.

That means its time to discuss the 2007 membership year. This year will be quite similar to last year, though we are going to try to do a few new things and involve some more people in the planning and definitely in the participation of the GMDGC events. Amongst the things we have planned for the 2007 season:

1. The Sap Bucket Open V (for those who can’t read Roman Numerals, that’s the fifth annual Sap Bucket Open)

2. Weekly Events (Thursday Night Triples or some variation there of)

3. Monthly tourneys for Bag Tag Holders (another note to folks who can’t read Roman Numerals – this years tags are done with Roman Numerals, so I’d take a lesson here –> Roman Numerals Wikipedia Style)

4. Work Days to Support the Hard’Ack Association in St. Albans, VT get a disc golf course going – stay tuned for info on work days. This will be a great opportunity to spread the sport and get involved at the most basic level – course design and installation.
