It's time for the Sap Bucket X

Postby Justinvt » Wed Apr 11, 2012 10:03 pm

Bam. Here we go. Sap Bucket X.

Sunday, May 20, 2012

http://www.gmdgc.org/tournaments/sap-bucket-open-x/

Pro Open, Pro Grandmasters, Pro Women $40
Advanced Men, Advanced Women, Advanced Masters, Intermediate Men, Intermediate Women $30
Recreational and Junior $25

Int. Women, Recs and Jrs. play White/White
Everyone else plays Blue/Blue

Bachnein Bucks for Ams
Pros win cash money
40% division payout

$2 ace pot (no aces means the ace pot carries over to the next GMDGC event)
$2 to cover online registration

There may be trophies, there may not be trophies
It'll be NEFA and GMDGC points

Registration from 8:30 to 9:30
Player's Meeting 9:45 (for real, no exaggeration)
Tournament Start: 10:00
Jeff Spring Rule: We'll start without you if you don't show up on time

Lunch is on your own: There are some options for food pretty close by. Please be prepared for a fast lunch turn around. There's nothing worse than a long lunch break at a tournament. So, if you're the last group, be ready to hustle. Brown bag it if you can.

First round groupings: Mostly random, but no big mix of divisions (Pros, you won't have to play with those Once a Weekers)
Second round pairings: Based on your finish, by division

Field limited to 72 players
This tournament will sell out, so if you'd like to play, act now before it closes
Oliver Redding Rule: Just posting that you want to play won't reserve you a spot, so please register ahead to time
Lazy Disc Golfer Rule: Navigating through the registration and then not paying with PayPal won't reserve you a spot, so please register ahead of time

CTP's. We hope to litter the course with CTP's. Everyone out there will have multiple chances for CTP's, so be ready. If you like to complain about prizes, this could be your chance to finally win something. If you're one of our very generous and probably under appreciated local businesses and you'd like to donate a CTP, first of all, thank you. Second of all, please get in touch if you'd like to donate something.

There's nothing like Vermont disc golf, but Vermonters beware. This is a NEFA tourney, so those folks from down south are coming to steal your NEFA points. Not only do you need to register before it closes, but you also need to practice your putting. Now's the time. Pay your money. Buy the ticket. Take the ride.

There are some updated registrations.

Vermonters, let's stop slacking here and start getting registered. I'd hate to see you lose your spots when the NEFA players start signing up. Actually, I think it'd be hysterical... just don't say I didn't tell you so.

Zach, I have a call in about the weather and the temperatures, so hopefully we can help you out. I'll keep you posted...

33 players registered so far. Now's the time. Buy the ticket. Ride the ride.

I'll also be taking cash payments (exact change only, I'm not a bank) for registration at both the Team Challenge and at Rang Duce Doubles.
